I blend modern techniques with traditional African visual languages, using Black portraiture and African textiles to evoke cultural memory and lived experience.

Jocelyn's practice uses portraiture, African textiles, and diasporic symbolism to preserve memory, affirm Black identity, challenge erasure and misrepresentation, and reconnect cultural narratives across generations while inviting reflection, dialogue, and deeper understanding.
